Feathers for Phoebe

Hi Auburn North,

Have a look at the photos of KK who are all set for National Simultaneous Storytime on Wednesday 25th May at 11.00am. Don't they look fantastic with their beautiful feathered masks? Great job KK.

National Simultaneous Storytime aims to promote the value of reading and literacy using quality Australian literature. This year's picture book is the delightful story of Phoebe, a small grey bird who tries very hard to be fabulous, beautiful and glamorous like the other birds in the forest.
It has a wonderful message about self-acceptance, self esteem and learning that appearances aren't everything!

hi,the book about phoebe was fantastic!

I liked Phoebe becasue she wears beautiful colouful feathers and it was funny when she fell down onto the other small grey bird.

I liked Phoebe because she wears huge colourful feathers.
My favourite part was when Phoebe was standing on one leg and she fell down.

I think that feather's for Phoebe was an very great book when our class did our play i loved it! and i love the masks very pretty. :)

Hi Mrs Clift,
I had a great time reading 'Feathers for Phoebe.' Even though year 6 don't read picture books much, but I have certainly enjoyed it. I can't wait for next year!

I really liked the book feathers for phoebe because it was awesome when phoebe weared all those rainbow crests and feathers he looked so cute
