Hi Auburn North, Thank you Miss Li for encouraging students to enter the competition for Leigh Hobbs to visit our school. Over 100 stage 2 students had the opportunity to learn to draw Leigh's famous characters such as Mr Chicken, Horrible Harriet and Old Tom. Have a look at the photos of our very talented artists in action. You can read more about Leigh Hobbs by visiting the school website. Check it out. Hi Auburn North,
Operation Art is a program which encourages young people to create artworks for children at The Children's Hospital at Westmead. Mrs Spicer and her CAPA team have been very busy displaying the wonderful artworks Auburn North students and their teachers created to support this wonderful initiative. Congratulations everyone on producing such fantastic works of art. Congratulations to Kieran from 5M for his winning entry in the Jacob Groth competition.
Kieran was awarded a certificate, letter of congratulations and a prize pack at the morning assembly. Remember to read the front cover of your 'Books In Homes' catalogue and enter the competition for your chance to win great prizes. Kieran's name is also starring on the 'Books In Homes Website'. Check it out. http://www.booksinhomesaustralia.com.au/pages.php?page_id=0040&menu_id=04 |
