The Amazing Adventures of Peer Support

6/6/2011

Hi Auburn North,

The Peer Support Program will run for the next 5 weeks on Thursday afternoons.
Congratulations Year 6 for getting off to a fantastic start. Even though there were a few nervous moments, you were all very organised and responsible at leading your groups.
I enjoyed observing the 3 groups in the library learn more about one another and use an adjective to describe themselves.

What is your Peer Support name?
Who are your leaders?

Hi Mrs Clift,

I am a peersupport leader of group number 8. My co-leader is Oznur from 6/5L. We both think that our group is a wonderfula dn awesome group. We as a group have a lot of fun. Oznur and I Give out 2 or 3 prizes each week and we think that those students deserve the prizes.

Hi Mrs Clift,
I am a group leader and my co-leader is Vanessa in my class. We had lots of fun. Our group number is 15. And we named our group the 'Busy Bees' because we are hard workers and kept busy doing our work. Once everybody likes the group name they felt very happy. And excited about coming to peer support next week already. Everybody was so happy each week. I think they felt like they belong in a group. Me and Vanessa are always looking forward about peer support because everyone is extremely happy. We also hand out 2 awards each week and heaps of stickers. We also hand out prizes for their great behaviour. I think they are just far out excited. When we begin everyone sits up nice and straight. No one makes a single noise or act silly. Me and Vanessa can't wait for next week's peer support. We're too excited!
