Harmony Day 2011

Hi Auburn North,

Harmony Day is celebrated around Australia on the 21st March every year. At Auburn North we celebrated our cultural diversity with the theme 'Everyone Belongs'.
Congratulations to the students and parents who were recognised this year as award winners.

I particularly enjoyed listening to Hassan's story as he reflected on his past and shared his thoughts about the future for himself and his family.
He was a fantastic representative of many students at our school who have a story to tell.

I am so proud of these boys, some of them ex-ANPS students. Their singing brought tears to my eyes as it was so simple and so lovely to listen to. A lovely message for us all on a special day, where our special ANPS community was recognised for its unique and natural harmony.

Hi

I love Harmony Day because when students come up on stage in the harmony day assembly and talk about their country or their trip to Australia you might learn something that you never knew about before.

I think every year a new student from every grade should get a spacial harmony day award and not just be happy but feel lucky,spacial,and be very proud about being chosen to get the award.

Dear Mrs Clift,

I enjoyed the song of 'If your out there' from Granville boys.

I think that everyone should believe that harmony day is felt every single day.

Hi Mrs Clift,
I can't wait for every year's harmony day. It is the most peaceful day of the year. And at school it is very fun to see other older students in high schools visiting our school. Also, perform lovely performances for us to watch. I believe when I'm in high school, I can also perform too!
